FAISALABAD - The All Pakistan Bedsheets and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) has demanded fair distribution of energy and a special relief package for the value-added textile sector. Talking to APP, Zonal Chairman (North Zone) Imran Mehmood said the energy crisis had crippled the industrial sector, exports declined He said that government should immediately take the industrial sector into confidence and fully concentrate on resolving the energy crisis on a war-footing.
He said, “We are in a position to clear the backlog of the last six months if energy was supplied at least four days a week.”
