Disappointed love birds fly away


LAHORE - Two teenagers took poisonous pills and ended their lives, after they failed to marry each other. The tragic incident came in Chung Police limits on Sunday.
Bilawal, 19, and Sania, 18, of Raond Masla village were in love with each other but their parents refused to entertain their request for marriage, according to police officials.
The disheartened lovers then decided to end their lives, probably in a hope to join each other in the afterlife. As per their plan, they went to Meer Town Park and took poisonous pills.
Rescue 1122 officials shifted the unconscious pair to hospital where doctors pronounced them dead. Chung SHO said the parents of the both the decedents did not blame anyone for the deaths and sought no action. The police then handed over the bodies to the families.
Police claims two snatchers arrested:
Tibbi city police claimed on Sunday to have arrested two accused allegedly involved in mobile snatching and injuring several people during resistance.
The police officials said the members of mobile snatching gang Usman alias Mani and Abdur Rehman alias were arrested red-handed while snatching mobiles on gunpoint while their third accomplice Asif managed to escape from the scene.
The team, organised by the city SP, arrested the said accused when they were snatching mobile and purse from family members. During interrogation the accused told the police that they sell these mobiles to the shopkeepers who transport these mobiles to other countries, like Dubai and Afghanistan. During investigation, the accused confessed to dozens of dacoity strikes. The police said that accused had been jailed for several times and every time they got bails from court and resume their crime. The cases were registered against them and they mostly committed crime in Tibbi Police Station limits, lower Mall, Data Darbar, Ravi Road, Lorry Ada, Gulberg and Ghalib Market area.
Crimes on rise in Ramazan:
Bandit on Sunday hit 46 crimes in the city as they looted cars, jewelry, mobile phones and cash worth millions of rupees, said police sources.
This huge number of strikes is putting question mark on the performance of police department during Ramazan month. In Defense area, the dacoits entered in the house of Aziz-ur-rehman and looted cash, prize bonds, cell phones and jewelry worth of Rs1.1 million.
In another strike, the looter took away valuables of worth Rs1 million from house of Shahid in Gujjar Pura police limits. In Nishtar colony the dacoits looted Rs1 million from Fahad house. In Nawab Town and Township areas during three strikes, the looters took away cash and valuables of wroth Rs204 millions from Khalid Sarfarz, Safeer Ahmad  and Nazeer Hussain forcing their entries in their homes. In certain other cases dacoits in Sabzazar area, Liaqat Abad, Garden Town, Shera Kot, Lytton Road and  South Cantt areas  dacoits forced their entries in the houses and looted valuables of worth Rs millions from families. Several motorcycles were snatched and went missing in different parts of the city. Mobile phones and purse were snatched in many parts of the city also.
