Three children drowned in two different canals here the other day.
As per detail, six-year-old Ghulam Ali was playing at Adda Khanpur near Sadiq Branch Canal when he slipped off into the canal and drowned. The divers searched for more than one hour but fail to recover the body of Ghulam Ali. In another incident, 10-year-old Tanveer Ahmed and 10-year-old Muhammad Usman were taking bath in Adam Sahaba canal near Chhalan Wala Pull when they drowned. The Rescue 1122 divers failed to recover the dead bodies of both children after hours’-long efforts.
