Lahore: A three-member bench was formed in Lahore High Court today (LHC), for hearing of case that challenges new delimitations for local body (LB) elections.

Chief Justice (CJ) Manzoor Malik had formed a three-member bench, headed by Justice Atir Mehmood. However, Justice Mehmood has refused to hold hearing of the case for personal reasons. He has returned the file to the CJ after he made his decision. This development has come in after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Jahangir Tareen, had challenged new delimitations in the LHC for LB polls.
