CM LOS ANGELES - Justin Bieber’s lawyers are requesting the singer’s egging case accuser undergoes mental evaluation to prove his emotional distress claim.

Jeff Schwartz filed a lawsuit against Justin last year (15) claiming he suffered emotional distress living next door to the pop star in Calabasas, California. He alleges the Sorry singer terrorised the community with regular wild parties and speeding cars and allegedly spat at him when confronted about the disturbances, which took place months before he pelted Jeff’s house with eggs in 2014.

Jeff and his wife Suzanne claim they are still suffering from a variety of issues, including headaches, stomach aches and insomnia, stemming from Justin’s bad boy behaviour, but the star’s lawyers want them to undertake a mental evaluation to prove the validity of their allegations.

According to TMZ.com, his legal team have filed new court documents asking a judge to approve their proposed examinations.

The criminal side of the egging case was finally over in June (16) when Justin completely came off probation, which he was placed on for two years after he pleaded no contest to vandalism in 2014. He also completed all court-ordered requirements including community service and an anger management course.

The singer moved out of the gated community and took time away from the music industry during the height of his bad behaviour but made his comeback last year (15) with new album Purpose and he is currently on a world tour in support of the record.

Justin is gearing up to release his next single, Cold Water, which is a collaboration with dance act Major Lazer and Danish singer MO. The track is officially released on Friday (22Jul16) and Justin has been promoting the song by giving some of his fans a portion of the lyrics via private messages on Twitter when they use the hashtag #ColdWater2Days.
