Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested six outlaws including murder accused of a security guard and also recovered two stolen bikes from them, a police spokesman said yesterday.
A special team was constituted on the directions of SP Rural Tanveer Mustafa to arrest the accused involved in killing a security guard at Taramri Chowk on December 20, 2015 and looting gold ornaments and other valuables from shops after breaking their locks.
This team succeeded to arrest the accused Lal Hussain son of Muhammad Raza, a resident of Para Chinar, for his alleged involvement in murder as well as theft cases while further investigation is under way.
Police have already arrested three accused Saeed Mehmud, Ali and Ashraf for their alleged involvement in this case.
The nabbed accused Lal Hussain has also remained a jailbird for his involvement in dacoity cases.
Meanwhile, Sabzi Mandi police arrested Jan Agha and Hidyat for their alleged involvement in bike-theft cases, besides recovering two stolen bikes from them. Ramana police arrested Afzal and Fawad Ahmed for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Sihala police arrested Farhan, an absconding driver of vehicle (RIS-2312), who hit a 9-year-old child, resulting in his death.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.
