In a major setback for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) election drive in Lahore, JUP-N (Noorani Group) has put its weight behind Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate Saad Rafique.

As per details acquired, JUP-N’s Maulana Owais Noraani opened a verbal onslaught against PTI and its chief Imran Khan. He announced to support the former railways minister Saad Rafique during elections in Lahore’s NA-131 constituency.

Rafique - during a joint press conference with JUN-P’s leaders - claimed that PML-N was not provided with equal opportunities in the up-coming polls. While foreseeing PML-N’s victory in general elections, he taunted that Imran’s rallies were empty as the people of Pakistan figured out the reality of PTI.

It is worth mentioning that Saad Rafique is going to contest elections against PTI Chief Imran Khan.
