LAHORE - Thailand has pulled out of the 6th Men's Junior Asia Hockey Cup which was to be staged at Hydrabad/ India from 8th July to 18th July could be delayed due to rescheduling of matches. Sri Lanka has already withdrawn from the competition which reduces the number of participants from ten to eight. Top six teams of the competition will qualify for 9th Men's Junior World Cup to be held jointly in Malaysia and Singapore from 7th June to 21st June 2009. Pool A will consist of India, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore while Pakistan, South Korea, Bangaldesh and Oman have been placed in Pool B.
