KARACHI - Three people including a two-year-child were killed in different incidents of violence in the wee hours of Monday. Police said on the night between Sunday and Monday, two people were killed when unidentified armed men resorted to aerial firing on a passenger bus at Orangi Town near Qasba More in the limits of Pirabad police station. Both of the deceased identified as Sheikh Farid and Sher Khan were the residents of the same area and hailed from Khyber Pukhtoon Khaw. Their bodies were moved to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. In another incident, an innocent child Tariq, son of Abullah received bullet injury and died at the spot while his grandmother Hajera sustained injuries when unidentified dacoits tried to loot the vehicle of a family near Usman Pardah Park in the limits of Jamshed Quarter Police Station. Police said the family was the resident of Hyderabad Colony and returning back to home after attending a marriage ceremony. Police said the victim was the employee of a local Pharmaceutical company. The body of the victim and injured woman were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for legal formalities and treatment. Besides, the funeral prayer of the slain activist of Jundaallah, Murad Shah Mehsood was offered at Abul Al Asfhani Road at Jamia Mosque Al Bilal in the limits of Mubina Town police station. The deceased Murad Shah committed suicide when he failed to escape from the City Court lock-up on Saturday. In is pertinent to mention here that his three accomplices managed to flee from the said court while he ended his life finding himself unable to escape from the City Court. The victim was the father of a daughter and belonged to Mehsood tribe. Later, he was buried at Scout Colony graveyard established for the same locality.
