KARACHI - Anti Extremist Cell of CID Sindh police claimed to have apprehended an alleged absconder of Karsaz carnage and the brother of commander of Tehreek-e-Taliban North Waziristan from Manghopir area here on Monday. According to CID official, on a tip-off, CID Extremism Cell conducted a raid on a house in Kanwari Colony located at Mangopir, and arrest Azmat Ullah alias Asmat Ullah and high profile activist of TTP and brother of the commander of (TTP) North Wazirstan, Wahab Ullah. They said that the accused had played an important role in Karsaz carnage, which claimed more than 140 lives of Pakistan Peoples Partys (PPP) activists and wounded hundreds while had one billion head money. Official added that they got a task to assassinate Benazir Bhutto in Karachi, they planned and attack on December 27 at Karsaz. After the carnage they both fled to Waziristan. The accused was just came to Karachi and might getting involved in another big activity in the City, official informed.
