ISLAMABAD Baloch nationalist leader and chief of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), Talal Akbar Bugti, on Monday threatened to move the UN and International Court of Justice if he was not dispensed with justice regarding assassination of his late father, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti. Addressing a press conference here at a local hotel, he requested the Supreme Court (SC) to award exemplary punishment to the culprits involved in Nawab Akbar Bugtis murder case. The JWP chief said he had filed a petition in the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) seeking suo moto notice on the FIR lodged in connection with the assassination of Nawaz Akbar Bugti and bringing former President General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf to the book. He was of the view that he moved the Supreme Court after his petitions for justice were turned down by the lower courts as well as an high court. The JWP chief accused the former President of hatching conspiracy to break away Balochistan by making plot of assassination of Nawab Akbar Bugti. He also alleged that President Asif Ali Zardari and Interior Minister Rehman Malik were fully supporting Pervez Musharraf by giving him full protocol and following his policies. He further alleged that the UN inquiry report into Benazirs assassination was being concealed because it contained names of two important cronies of President Zardari, which are Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Babar Awan and the Interior Minister Rehman Malik. Answering a question, he said he would soon start his visit to Punjab to muster public support to hold planned long march to save the country. He said the operation in Balochistan still continues unabated and Punjabis are being targeted to stoke hatred between the people of Balochsitan and Punjab.
