Kissan Board to hold protests against outages

MANDI BAHAUDDIN - The Kissan Board and other farmers organizations have decided to take out protests against the persisting loadshedding and hike in the electricity tariff.
The board has appealed to consumers not to pay electricity bills till loadshedding is brought to an end.
Talking to media persons here, Kissan Board District Secretary Saleh Ranjha said that peasants would lay siege around residences of local MNAs and MPAs to press their genuine demand and arrange sit-in in front of parliament in Islamabad. He pointed out that a final programme for staging protests would be issued within next couple of days.
