JHANG - At least six people including a woman were killed in separate incidents occurred in different areas here over the past 24 hours. As per detail, 30-year-old Safdar drowned in River Jhelum.

Thathi Rahmon killed his wife for honour. According to available details, Naseem Bibi, daughter of Allah Ditta, a resident of Chak 210/JB was married off to Parvaiz Sajjid some seven months back. However, she had already been involved in illicit relations with someone of her village.
Meanwhile, she eloped with her lover for four times. Two days ago she returned on the request of her relatives. Meanwhile, Sajjid who was angry at the bad deeds his wife, killed her with help of his uncle to avenge his disgrace. The Bhuwana Police have registered a case.
In another road accident that took place on Jhang-Gojra Road, Asif, son of Ali Muhammad and Muhammad Asif, son of Hayat, residents of Mauza Kot Lakhnana were crushed to death when they were returning home on a cycle by a speeding truck.
Similarly, one Khalid Mehmood was crushed to death on Jhang-Toba Road near bypass.  As per detail, Khalid Mehmood, a resident of Mauza Bagh was returning from duty on his cycle when a car, being driven by Sammer Abbas of Jhang Police hit him. Resultantly, he sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The people of area blocked traffic on the road as protest and demanded the DPO to arrest the accused immediately.
Meanwhile, a farmer was killed by the firing of bandits.
As per detail, one Muhammad Sardool, a resident of Mauza Patoana in the remit of Jhang City Police was irrigating his fields in the night when he saw two thieves stealing goats. On inquiring them they shot him dead.
The Jhang City Police have registered a case against two unidentified accused.
