Rawalpindi - Seven cases have been registered against property landlords and tenants on violation of Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Ordinance 2015 and Shop and Security Ordinance.

According to Rawalpindi Police spokesman, the property landlords and tenants were booked, as they did not pass on the required particulars to the police.

Kahuta police registered cases against Saghir Jewellers and Shoukat Jewellers on violation of shop and security ordinance, as they did not make arrangements for their security on their own. Race Course police registered FIRs against Nadeem, Fazal Kareem, Naseem and Khawar while City police booked hotel manager namely Israr on renting rules violations.

Action in accordance with the law is being taken against the rules violators under National Action plan, he added.
