Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested nine notorious human traffickers including Sarwar, Mujahid Abbas, Saleem, Munawar, Arshad, Rehmat and Nasir from Sialkot, Gujrat and Hafizabad during a crackdown.

According to FIA Gujranwala Deputy Director Sikandar Hayyat Malik, the accused human traffickers were wanted by the FIA in several cases of human trafficking. He said that the accused had been running their illegal business of sending the local innocent people abroad especially in Europe, Greece, UK, Iran, Turkey, Cyprus and Gulf States illegally by extorting heavy amounts from them.

The FIA teams also seized dozens of passports, fake diplomatic documents, fake medical certificates and fake stamps and embossing stamps from the offices of the above-mentioned human traffickers. FIA has sent the accused behind bars after registering separate cases against them.
