LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested three accused allegedly involved in illegal selling and transfer of plots in Johar Town, said NAB spokesman.

He said that two real brothers and one of their accomplices were found involved in illegal sale and transfer of plots in Johar Town. They were allegedly involved in transfer and sale of at least 76 plots on bogus and forged documents. With their fraud they caused huge lose of Rs 48 million to national exchequer.

The NAB Lahore arrested Malik Muhammad Arshad, Malik Muhammad Akram and Abdul Khaliq and presented before Accountability Court, Lahore. The Accountability Court granted three days physical remand of the accused persons into NAB custody for further probe of the matter.–Staff Reporter
