LAHORE - Lahore chapter of the PPP-P celebrated 62nd birth anniversary of slain party leader, Benazir Bhutto here on Sunday.
Local party leaders including Samina Khalid Ghurki, Haji Azizur Rehman Chan, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Navid Ch, Barrister Amir Hassan, Faisal Mir, Khurrum Farooq and Chairman Bhutto Legacy Foundation, Bashir Riaz attended the cake cutting ceremony held to mark the day.
They vowed to make Lahore a bastion of PPP under the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto. The democracy in Pakistan owed much to the sacrifices rendered by Bhutto family, they said.
