The Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari held an in-person meeting with Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, on Tuesday in Lahore.
According to the sources, important issues including the political situation and issues of Punjab were discussed in the meetings which lasted for an hour at Bilawal House.
Pervaiz Elahi inquired about the health of Asif Ali Zardari. Asif Ali Zardari inquired about the well-being of Shujaat Hussain and wished him good health.
PML-Q leader thanked Asif Zardari for supporting his suggestions on the occasion of Senate election.
Pervaiz Elahi said, “I met Zardari to thank him for his help in the Senate elections at my request. I wanted to go to Karachi to meet Zardari but he asked me not to bother saying that when he visits Lahore we will meet there.”
