PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister, Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti has directed the authorities concerned to increase the pace of work on approved projects of provision of gas and address the problems created by low gas pressure.
He was chairing a high level meeting with high-ups of Sui gas department. Participants of the meeting included General Manager Sui Northern Gas Pipeline, Haroon Khan, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Syed Waqar-ul-Hassan, Engineer Abbas, Javed Yousafzai, Shah Nawaz Khan, Lutf ur Rehman and officers of Sui Gas Department. GM, SNGPL Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haroon Khan, apprised the meeting of progress on gas provision schemes and details regarding gas production and consumption.
Later, addressing a jirga of Mardan notables, the CM said that being second large city and district of the province on the basis of population, the development of Mardan and welfare of its people were its rights.
He said that Mardan was deprived of its right during the past 60 years, however, the present government was committed to over come this deprivation.
He said that his government has for the first time initiated noble deeds like reconstruction repair and rehabilitation of mosques, which purely aimed at pleasing Allah and serving the people.
He said that construction development and provision of basic needs and facilities to the people was a continuous process and that is the responsibility of the government.
