Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai once again repeated his call for halting night raid operations by NATO-led forces in the militancy-plagued country. "We are working to stop the night raid operations," President Karzai said in his speech at a graduation ceremony in the National Military Academy here in Kabul. He made this remarks just after couple of weeks that the United States agreed to hand over the control of Bagram detention center to Afghan administration. Bagram detention center, 50 km north of Afghan capital Kabul where hundreds of suspected Taliban and al-Qaida operatives have been held, is located in Bagram airbase, the main U.S. military center in Afghanistan.
