LAHORE – National Engineering Services (Pakistan) Private Limited (Nespak) has entered 40TH year of its establishment and it has made a major contribution at home and abroad in re-shaping the profession of Engineering Consultancy. During this period, Nespak executed 3,250 National Development Projects at home and abroad with a cumulative cost of over Rs 8,000 billion thus yielding revenue of about Rs. 40 billion up to December 31, 2011, which is a historic achievement.

The Managing Director of Nespak, Asad I. A. Khan, while reviewing the past performance of his Company, said that Nespak has achieved several objectives by creating a pool of hundreds of talented engineers and other professionals; attained self reliance in Engineering Consultancy and minimized dependence on foreign Consultants in the Engineering Sector.

He said that 2010-11 was another successful year for Nespak as it secured 110 new Projects at home and abroad worth Rs. 526 billion.  The home projects include 747MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Guddu; Bara Multipurpose Dam Project; Kalma Chowk Flyover Lahore; Ashiana Housing Scheme, Lahore; Pakistan Iran Gas Pipeline Project; 500 KV Lahore Substation and Allied Transmission Line Project and the rehabilitation, modernization of Jinnah Barrage and Restoration of
