ISLAMABAD - National judo training camp, which is being organised by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) in collaboration with Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF), started here at the PSB coaching centre on Friday. The purpose of training camp is to prepare the players for the high-profile international events which are round the corner. Pakistan players will be seen in action in the South Asian Judo Championship starting from April 11-14 in Nepal, Judo Grand Slam in Azerbaijan from May 2-4 and Asian Games in South Korea. Talking to The Nation on Friday, PJF secretary Masood Ahmed said: “In all, 38 players (20 males and 18 females) along with two national coaches while one international coach will soon join the camp to help our judokas learn and deliver well against international teams.”–Staff Reporter
