Prime Minister has formed a committee to formulate Constitutional facilitation by allowing open balloting for Senate’s Election. Procedural change in Senate Election by adopting a show of hands method, instead of secret balloting, will eliminate vote buying and political horse trading. In view of nearing election’s this decision, to change may not be completed for the coming Senate’s Election, however this decision shows some political sincerity. Democratic evolution with greater transparency in any country augurs well for the maturity of political system. It is hoped that Government will keep up the good work.
