PCB, franchises shouldn’t include foreign players unwilling to play in Pakistan: Afridi

Pakistani Cricket players are of the view that those foreign players who are not willing to play for PSL matches in Pakistan should not be included in the next edition of tournament.

Firstly, Sarfraz Ahmed criticized this and now Shahid khan Afridi has also spoken in this regard.

While speaking to media on today he urged PSL franchise owners not to include those foreign players in the next edition who had miscommunicated with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) franchise owners for their availability to travel to Pakistan for Semi finals and Finals.

Afridi also applauded the upcoming T20 series with West Indies which is to be held in Karachi in the first week of April. He also said, “Holding PSL matches in Lahore and Karachi will send a positive message to the world. The message that security is excellent in Pakistan needs to be conveyed.”

Earlier, Afridi supported Indian players playing in PSL.
