LAHORE - Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that India has become a country of hyper-nationalist Hindus.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sponsoring Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) terrorists. Indian security forces are also supporting extremists and terrorists. Being a Muslim has become a crime in India today. International bodies should no longer remain silent on human rights violations in India. India’s refusal to allow the Sikh community to visit Pakistan for the pilgrimage is condemnable. On Sunday, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar shared a video of a Muslim boy who was beaten only because he drank water from a temple in India, saying that India is no longer safe for minorities and basic human rights are being blatantly violated but unfortunately, international bodies and the United Nations are being silent spectators, which is by no means tolerable.
Punjab Governor said that India has become the most dangerous country in the world for Muslims and other minorities, where RSS terrorists are targeting the minorities under the backing of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Violence against Indian Muslims is on the rise with each passing day.
It is about time that the international bodies and the United Nations should take stern notice of the atrocities committed against minorities in India and take action to prevent genocide of Muslims.
Sarwar said that minorities in Pakistan enjoy equal rights adding that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan is ensuring the provision of all facilities to the minorities in line with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
It is condemnable that India is not allowing Indian Sikh Yatrees to come to Pakistan. Pakistan on the other hand will provide security and proper facilities to Sikh Yatrees coming from all over the world to Pakistan for pilgrimage.
