Police arrest 2 carjackers

ISLAMABAD - Capital Police have arrested 2 accused involved in a car lifting and recovered the vehicle from their possession. According to details, an incident of car theft was occurred on May 4 in the area of Police Station Aabpara. SSP Islamabad Tarir Alam Khan took very serious notice of it and directed ASP City Circle, Muntizer Madhi to constitute a special team for work out the case on emergent basis. Accordingly, he constituted a team headed by Inspector Abdul Razaq, Station House Officer Police Station Aabpara, Munsoor Ahmed, Assistant Sub Inspector and Head Constable Ameer Sajjad to trace the criminal involved in case. The team started investigation very promptly and arrested 2 accused namely Muhammad Ishfaq and Faiz Ullaha and recovered stolen vehicle from them. Meanwhile, Arshad Ali, Sub Inspector of Karal Police Station arrested two accused involved in a case and recovered 30 bore pistol and one 12 bore on gunpoint. Further investigation is underway SSP has directed all SHOs, including Rescue 15 to continue their efforts and booked the outlaws involved in the crime and anti-social activities. He further directed to intensify the patrolling to curb the crime.
