LAHORE - The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while welcoming the issuance of SRO 337(I)/2010, has said that the business friendly initiative taken by the Federal Board of Revenue would go a long way strengthening public-private relations. In a statement issued here Friday, the LCCI President Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry and Convener LCCI Standing Committee on Customs & Ports Aftab Ahmad Vohra said that on demand of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, extension of date up to June 30 for which warehouse goods may remain in the warehouse and remission penal surcharge in the case of goods, which are cleared from the warehouse within the period from the 20th May, 2010 to the 30th June 2010 is highly appreciable.
