After completing nine innings, Thai players could hit just three runs while their challengers World No.30 Hong Kong hit six runs to overcome World No. 16 in their first fixture of the tournament. Hosts Pakistan are on the top with two consecutive victories after stunning Thailand and Afghanistan at the same venue. Thailand will meet Afghanistan in their last league match on Saturday (today). Pakistan will meet Hong Kong in their last fixture on May 24 at the same venue. The winner of the last match will qualify for the Senior Asia Cup Baseball Championship which will be held in Philippians next year 2011. An official of the Pakistan Baseball Federation (PBF) told this scribe that Pakistan had bright chances of winning the title.
