LAHORE A five member Pakistan badminton team comprising three senior players and two juniors will be leaving for Maldives from Karachi on May 24. The two junior players have been selected by Badminton Asia Confederation for participation in this Championship. The Pakistan team will participate in Maldives International Challenge Badminton Tournament to be held in Maldives from May 25 to 29. The tournament is a world ranking tournament with cash prizes of 15000 Dollars. Names of the players are Wajid Ali Chaudhry, Rizwan Azam, Kashif Sulehri, Temur Arab and Soban Jamil. Twenty Countries are participating in this tournament. Our senior players are expected to do well.
