ISLAMABAD (APP) - Minister for Communications Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil said Friday that the present democratic government is fully cognizant of the problems faced by the common man and substantial relief would be given to government employees in the next budget. He said this while meeting the office bearers of the All Pakistan Government Employees Federation, who were protesting at Aabpara Market. He said that fulfillment of the basic needs of the masses are among our priorities. The Minister apprised them that the government intends to provide the government employees substantial relief in the next budget. He said that the next budget would be a welfare oriented and poor-friendly budget as the Pakistan Peoples Partys democratic government is trying day in and out to mitigate the adverse impacts of the previous dictatorial regimes policies. Arbab Alamgir Khan urged the masses to remain calm and allow the present government to fulfill its promises. He said that the present government is whole-heartedly committed to the vision of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Quaid-e- Jamhooriat Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He said that the government employees need to work hand in hand to bring prosperity in Pakistan by working diligently and with utmost honesty. Pakistans social development and economic prosperity is our first priority. Office bearers of the All Pakistan Government Employees Federation thanked the Federal Minister for taking keen interest in the resolution of the government employees problems.
