LAHORE Punjab Minister for Agriculture Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh on Saturday suspended 11 officials for dereliction of duties and ordered to issue show cause notices to two directors. During his visit to Ayyub Research Institute Faisalabad, in order to achieve self-reliance, poor performance and negligence by government officials would not be tolerated, a handout said. He also said that after refusing to accept foreign aid, special attention must be paid to agriculture and industrial sectors for ensuring sovereignty and independence.
