RAWALPINDI (Online) - The proceedings of the killing of former Punjab governor Sulman Taseer could not be held due to absence of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Special Judge Raja Ikhlaq Hussain. The next date for the hearing was fixed as May 28 wherein the court would record the statements of prosecution witnesses. His gaud Mumtaz Qadri shot dead Taseer when the former Punjab governor was coming out of a restaurant after lunch in Islamabad and surrender to police in first week of the current calendar year.
