Colours land in OPF College

ISLAMABAD - The OPF Girls College, F-8/2, celebrated its Annual Day on Tuesday. The college started functioning in 1986 and since then it has been making its upward journey to success.
To this prestigious event, Barrister Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, was invited as the chief guest. OPF Managing Director Syed Iftikhar Hussain Babar, Deputy Managing Director Israr Khan Jamali, Additional Director General Education OPF Brig (Retd) Asif Sheikh were the guests of honour.
The day was unique in the sense that all the eight sections of the institute from pre-nursery to the senior sections presented their performance. The twinkling stars of prep section presented a Na'at reflecting love and passion for Holy Prophet (PBUH). Na'at was followed by a performance on Allama Iqbal's Dua by prep section. Afterwards, the college choir from senior section presented the promising words of the college anthem. Then the OPFian butterflies of nursery section spitefully shared their jubilant fun on the stage.
OPF Girls College has been fortunate to have respectable Fulbright scholar Madam Shahina Masood as its one of principals. She delivered her welcome address and highlighted the academic and co-curricular achievements of the college. She mentioned multiple activities the college students have been participating in.
After the principal's speech, the senior section performed on a song depicting the promising "Learn to Serve" atmosphere provided at OPF College.
