Karachi- Ghulam Qadir Thebo has been appointed as Additional IG Karachi after a major reshuffle in the police hierarchy as Shahid Hayat was removed from his post. Four additional IGs and five DIGs have been removed from their respective posts in compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court. Earlier this month, the Sindh government was directed by the Supreme Court to remove all officers working under OPS.
