ISLAMABAD : The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority Wednesday approved Rs1.48 per unit reduction in power tariff. The relief is being given to the consumers because total power generation cost was decreased by Rs12 billion during the last month. Under the monthly fuel adjustment plan, the regulator decreased power price by Rs1.48. New prices will be applicable from the next month.
