Two youngmen were murdered due to old enmity in Rahim Yar Khan while another was killed during a robbery incident in Sheikhupura on Wednesday.

The heirs of youth killed in enmity demanded immediate arrest of the killer. Muhammad Akram, a resident of Basti Kahoor Khan, told police that his brother Muhammad Afzal, 35, and nephew Muhmmad Naeem Nomi, 17, were going to the sessions court for their hearing. Meanwhile, he alleged, his enemy Arshad Malhi and his accomplices Arshad Malhi, Akhtar, Imran, Bilal and Akram stopped them near Jeddah Petrol Pump and started firing on them. Afzal and Naeem died on the spot. After the incident, the B Division police took the bodies in their custody and shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital for postmortem.

In Sheikhupura, five highway robbers on resistance shot a passenger dead and injured two others on Lahore Road near Javed Nagar.

The robbers in the guise of passengers boarded on the van near Mor Joianwala, going to Lahore from Sheikhupura. Meanwhile, the outlaws started snatching cash and other valuables from the passengers. On resistance, Hafiz Saukat, 22, was killed by the outlaws. Later, they escaped after looting cash, ornaments worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.

In another incident motorcyclist Rafique was deprived of cash and other valuables near Sagian Pull. The victim was going to Lahore from Kotabdul Maalik when he was deprived of cash and other valuables. Likewise, four highway robbers looted a family and took away cash, ornaments and others near Burj Attari on Sharqpur Road. Abdul Razzaq and other family members from Lahore were going to Sharqpur to participate in a ceremony by a car.

Meanwhile, the bandits in a car intercepted the family and snatched cash Rs400,000 and gold ornaments of 7 tolas.
