U-16 cricket academy launched

LAHORE - The first ever U-16 cricket academy has been launched with 20 players living under one roof to learn cricket and to get education. “Salman Khan (SK) Cricket Academy is a non-commercial cricket learning institution which has been setup to indentify talent at grassroots and to groom it under a three year plan," said academy chief Salman Khan. “The academy is functioning at Khayaban-e-Amin ground where boarding and lodging facilities are being provided free of cost to the players to learn cricket besides getting education to become good cricketers and useful citizens. "It is the first ever in-house academy for deserving and aspiring cricketers who have passion to progress in the game and to serve their country by getting a place in the national and junior teams," he added. –Staff Reporter
