Islamabad: The Iranian Ambassador H.E. Honardoost has said that Iranian businessmen are keen to enhance business with their Pakistani counterparts, so they should come forward and start joint ventures with their Pakistani counterparts.
Talking to the newly Office Bearers of Pak-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PIJCCI) including President Wali Muhammad and Vice President Khursheed Barlas who called on him, Honardoost said that both countries had deep rooted brotherly friendly relations which could be further promoted by developing economic ties in different sectors, said a press release issued today.
He congratulated new office bearers of PIJCCI and assured for all possible cooperation for further strengthening bilateral relations besides exploring new opportunities of trade and commerce.
He further said that lack of trade-related information was one of the biggest reasons of low trade volume between Pakistan and Iran.
Wali Muhammad expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and appreciation of Honardoost who had offered his sincere support to PIJCCI.
He further said that Joint Chamber with the cooperation of businessmen of both countries would set new examples of trade promotion and investment.
Barlas expressed that products of Pakistan and Iran are liked by the people of both countries and we have adequate opportunities to provide joint platform to showcase these products which could get export orders and joint ventures to increase the volume of trade between Pakistan and Iran.
He presented a memento of PIJCCI to Honardoost and assured that cordially relations among two countries would be further promoted.
