LAHORE:– Punjab budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 will be presented on June 10. Sources say that total Rs450 billion have been earmarked under the development head; Rs42 billion for education; Rs26 billion for health; Rs6 billion for laptop scheme; Rs30 billion for the construction of roads in rural areas; Rs10 billion for Orange Line Project; Rs40 billion for irrigation; Rs12 billion for agriculture; Rs16 billion for urban development programme and Rs18 billion for the energy sector in the budget.
