Rawalpindi - Rawalpindi Arts Council and Bazm-e-Ahbab-e-Qalam Pakistan arranged a launching ceremony of the book ‘Seerat-e-Sarwar-e-Konain (PBUH)’ by famous poet, intellectual and writer Zafar Iqbal Anjum yesterday.
Renowned scholar and internationally famous short story writer, Hameed Shahid was the chief guest of the ceremony. Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed and President Bazm-e-Ahbab-e-Qalam Ali Asghar Samar welcomed the distinguished guests. Famous poetess Kausar Samrin anchored the ceremony.
Hameed Shahid addressing on the occasion applauded the work done by Zafar Iqbal Anjum and termed it good addition in Islamic literature. He said it was very difficult task to compile Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) but Zafar Iqbal has done enthusiastically and perfectly and provided an informative book.
Other speakers also threw light on the book.
