rawalpindi - Three women were raped while one was killed by unknown attacker in separate incidents in Rawalpindi district.

According to details, Ms FA lodged a complaint with officials of Police Station Rawat that she was present at her house when her husband’s friend SS knocked at the gate. She said that as she opened the gate, SS took her to a room and raped her forcefully. The accused fled the scene on the arrival of a servant, she alleged.

Taking action police registered a rape case against SS and arrested him, sources said. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal, who is probing the rape case, told The Nation that the lady was raped by the man. He said that the accused during investigation told police the husband of FA borrowed Rs 2 million from him and later refused to return the amount. The accused further told police the couple called him at their house for payment and the lady seduced him there, besides making video through secret cameras. “The lady trapped me in a bid to avoid payment of Rs 2 million. I made a mistake by assaulting her sexually,” the SI quoted the accused as saying.

Another senior police officer, seeking anonymity, disclosed to The Nation that it was proved during investigation that the lady roped the man in a ‘planned rape case.’ He said the couple called SS at home and the husband left the house upon his arrival. The lady seduced SS and recorded all the immoral activity in cameras to blackmail him.

In another incident, a man forcefully raped his daughter-in-law in Darnoyan area. According to sources, one RK, a resident of Darnoyan, lodged a complaint with Police Station Kotli Sattian that her husband is settled in Saudi Arabia and she is living with her in-laws. She accused her father-in-law MA of raping her forcefully. She added that MA along with others also conducted her abortion. Taking action, police lodged a case against five accused including two men.

In the third incident, two unknown men sexually assaulted a housemaid after kidnapping her from Chaklala Scheme-III, sources informed The Nation yesterday.

The housemaid namely RB tendered an application with PS Civil Line in which she stated that she was going to dump the garbage at Chaklala Scheme-III when two unknown men kidnapped her and raped her forcefully. Police lodged a complaint and started investigation.

Separately, an unknown man gunned down a lady in Kallar Syedan. Police said that an unknown man while brandishing weapon stormed into the house of Saiqa Bibi, 38, at Dhoke Sabri near Qasim Market and started indiscriminate firing at her. As a result, the lady died on the spot and the killer managed to escape from the scene. The dead body of the deceased was shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for autopsy. Police started investigation after filing a murder case against the accused.
