No country can prosper by hollow slogans: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD - Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday said that no country can develop and prosper by hollow slogans and false promises.

Speaking to different PPP delegations here, he said the country can only prosper when the labourers and growers of the country were economically emancipated.

Former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani along with Raees Nabil who recently joined Pakistan People’s Party called on Chairman PPP and discussed issues of caretaker setup, elections and politics in South Punjab.

Office-bearer of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Humayun Khan, Faisal Karim Kundi, Senator Rubina Khalid, Senator Behramand Tangi and Akhundzada Chattan also called on Chairman PPP.

Secretary General PPPP Farhatullah Babar, SG PPP Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Jamil Ahmed Soomro and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar were also present on the occasion. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instructed office-bearers of the party to involve senior PPP workers in election campaign as they were strength of Benazir Bhutto and they are still his own strength.
