Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday termed claims of economic progress by the incumbent government as false. He criticized the economic conditions of the country by stating that false claims of economic progress are more like adding salt to people’s wounds.
The Chairman PPP released a statement, stating that Sindh's per capita income is more than rest of the country.
He further added that the poverty rate in the PPP-led province came down by 7.6 percent. However, it has surged to 27 percent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) came in to power.
Bilawal Bhutto refused to accept the claims of economic progress by the current government.
He also criticized the government’s plan of imposing ten percent tax on pensions in the upcoming budget.
