ISLAMABAD - About 4,000 cases are pending in the Peshawar High Court, Mingora Bench, informed a newly elected cabinet of PHC, Mingora Bench Bar Association, headed by its President Sher Muhammad Khan to Chief Justice of Pakistan. The delegation consisting other office-bearers met the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary at the Supreme Court Building, here on Monday. The Chief Justice congratulated the elected members of Association. The Mingora Bench of the Peshawar High Court has been constituted under the 18th Constitutional Amendment. It caters the seven districts of the Malakand Division including Shangla and Chitral; that in the Malakand Division, Nizam-e-Adl Regulation is operative and the criminal cases are required to be decided within four months while civil cases are required to be decided within 06 months, therefore, due to quick disposal of cases the institution rate of the cases in the High Court is increasing in the Peshawar High Court, Mingora Bench day by day.
