OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Chief Minister Punjabs 2011 speeches, essay writings, sports, Art & Craft competition started on Monday. As many as one lakh and fifty thousand male and female students of public and private schools and universities will participate in these competitions, said spokesman of the Punjab government. He said that prizes of 16 crore rupees will be distributed among winner boy and girl position holder students. A meeting of provincial committee was held in the committee room of School Education Department to review the holding of Chief Minister Punjabs 2011 speeches, essay writings and Art competitions. Dr. Ijaz Munir Sector Higher Education, Secretary Schools Muhammad Aslam Kamboh, Vice Chancellor Punjab University Dr. Kamran, Director General Public Relations, DPI (Colleges), DPI (Secondary), DPI (Elementary), Secretary Lahore Board and Director Admn. Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Ansar Nawaz Chatha were present in the meeting. The committee reviewed in detail the Chief Ministers competitions programme and gave approval to the speech programme of 2011. The committee agreed that the procedure adopted during 2009-10 competitions should be followed for present competitions. The committee also gave approval to the topics of competitions to be held from markaz to district level.
