TOBA TEK SINGH - Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has said that the entire nation is yearning for a change as they have been fed up with the corrupt rulers who have pushed the country into a dark alley. The wrong policies of the government have given nothing to the masses except lawlessness, corruption, price hike and unemployment. Liaqat Baloch made the comment while talking with the newsmen at the walima reception of Shabab Milli Tehsil President Mian Qaiser Arshad on Monday. The JI stalwart stated that the JI was not agreed with decision of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif regarding filing a petition in the Supreme Court if President Zardari did not carrying out inquiry into the Memo issued within nine days. He said that in the past supreme court had took suo motu notice of Karachi issue but instead of giving any clear verdict it only announced observations. Liaqat Baloch pointed out that both the military or judiciary had no right to interfere in state matters. He proposed that an impartial commission should be formed to hold inquiry into drone attacks being carried out the government permission, non-implementation of the Supreme Court decision on NRO issue and on the memo issue.
