LAHORE After issuing repeated warnings to PIA, finally Saudi Aviation Authorities have fined the national flag carrier for consecutive delays in flights operating between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, sources in the national airline said on Monday. Fine was imposed due to delay in flights Pk-743 and Pk-744 operating between Karachi-Medina and Medina-Karachi. Sources claimed that aviation authorities had issued notice to the airline for delay in flights and PIA management took stance that the flight was late due to technical reasons. On which Aviation authorities asked the management to provide proof. But management could not provide proof to support its stance. Ultimately, aviation authorities imposed fine on PIA.
