KARACHI Shazia Marri was given additional charge of Sindh information ministry after the approval of outgoing information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon. Shaiza has already served as provincial information minister and currently she holds the portfolio of Sindh Minister for Electric Power as well. Sharjeel, who left for Dubai, told media on the airport that he was not leaving the country but going on a short trip to oversee his business. To a question he, said he had not yet thought about going to London. Earlier in the day, Sindh Assembly acceded to the request from the resigned minister for leave from the assembly session. The application of the MPA was presented in the assembly on Monday.
