Rawalpindi - Police found the dead body of a 50-year-old labourer with wound marks on his head here from Girja Chowky area on Friday.
Police shifted the dead body to District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy. The deceased was identified as Alam Zeb and he was a resident of Mardan.
According to Raja Rashid, station house officer police station Saddar Bairooni, police received information that the dead body of a man was lying in the area of Girja Chowky.
He said that the dead was taken into custody and was later shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
He said that unknown killers murdered the man by hitting stone in his head.
Police filed a case against the unknown murderer and started investigation.
The doctors have handed over the dead body to heirs after conducting post mortem, he informed.
