Rawalpindi - Commissioner Rawalpindi Capt (Retd) Zahid Saeed has said that the business community should not pay heed to the rumours regarding delay in completion of Metro Bus Service (MBS) project, adding the project would be completed by 30th January 2015 at every cost.

The commissioner said that the government was fully aware of the problems being faced by the business community and every possible measure would be taken to complete the project on time. He was exchanging these views with the President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Syed Asad Mashadi during his visit to chamber on Friday.

“The project was initially supposed to be completed by 31st of December 2014 but due to sits-in of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehrik, the pace of work on the said project has been badly affected. The government of Punjab is thankful to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and all the traders for their support and patience,” he said.
